Our Vision for Sustainability

At Agilico, we believe that sustainability should be at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we’ve set ourselves the bold goal of achieving Net Zero status by 2030, aligning our work with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Central to this vision is Agilico Zero, our circular-first managed print initiative, which offers refurbished multi-functional devices (MFDs) that deliver top-tier performance with a significantly reduced environmental impact.

The results have been incredible. We’ve already saved just under 1,500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, which is equivalent to the carbon footprint of over 2,500 return flights between London and New York. On top of that, we’ve transitioned 93.5% of our vehicle fleet to electric or hybrid, and we’re on track to make it 100% by the end of this financial year.

Simon Davey, our CEO, said:

We’re disrupting the way an industry has worked for generations and in doing so delivering meaningful environmental benefit – all 450 colleagues in the business should be incredibly proud of what they are achieving”.

Driving Industry Change

We’ve made it our mission to disrupt the traditional ‘take-make-waste’ model that dominates our industry. With Agilico Zero, we’ve introduced refurbished devices that avoid, on average, 97.5% of the CO₂ emissions associated with manufacturing new machines. These devices combine cutting-edge efficiency with significant environmental benefits, giving businesses a sustainable option without compromising performance.

But we didn’t stop there. We’ve also switched to biodegradable packaging that decomposes in 2-3 years, replacing traditional shrink wrap that can take decades to break down.

As Warren Colby, Managing Director of the Agile Print Division, says:

This award is a testament to the incredible work of our people. By refurbishing devices, recycling parts, and driving innovation, we’re showing what’s possible when sustainability is prioritised. And this is just the beginning.

Looking Ahead

This award reflects everything we stand for at Agilico. It’s not just about what we’ve achieved so far, it’s about the path we’re forging for the future. By embracing a circular-first approach and staying committed to our Net Zero goals, we’re determined to continue inspiring the industry and our communities to build a greener tomorrow.

We’re incredibly proud of this achievement and are looking forward to what comes next. Thank you to our team, our customers, and everyone who has supported us on this journey. Let’s keep pushing for positive change, together.
