We’re delighted with our win at the Midlothian & East Lothian Business Awards in the Environmental Impact Award category.
The awards ceremony in March 2024 was attended by 260 guests and gave recognition to the region’s diverse economy showcasing entrepreneurial excellence in service industry, technology, innovation, sustainability, food and drink and tourism.
At Agilico we have a long-standing commitment to improving our environmental impact throughout the country, especially through our MFD refurbishment and recycling centres which were a particular focus of our award submission. Every year we prevent 1000’s of toner bottles and device component parts from reaching landfills by reusing them for their original purposes.

Our recycling centres across the country are just part of our enhanced drive for sustainability throughout all areas of our business as part of the UN Sustainable Development Goals where we support the worldwide effort to build a better future for people and planet.
Throughout the group we use energy efficiently and from renewable sources wherever possible. We’re also committed to managing our waste responsibly and recycling MFDs and other devices whenever we can.
In 2023 over 10% of our company car fleet was fully electric, and 50% of our vehicle fleet was hybrid. Our offices are increasingly environmentally friendly with solar panels on many sites.
The award was collected by Neil Hunter a Senior Account Manager from our Edinburgh office, and a member of The Midlothian & East Lothian Chamber of Commerce, alongside Joyce Campbell our Client Transition Manager.
