DMC Canotec has recently embarked on a Giving Back initiative along with remanufactured toner brand, planitgreen. planitgreen has four core values; Reduced Costs, Reduced Environmental Impact, Quality Solutions and Giving Back. Having turned four in March, it is the fourth and arguably most important core value that they will be focusing their attention on, Giving Back.
The beneficiary of this initiative is Starlight Children’s Foundation who grant once-in-a-lifetime wishes for seriously and terminally ill children, restoring the magic and fun of childhood and giving the whole family happy memories to share, whatever the future holds.
Both DMC Canotec and planitgreen have worked closely with Starlight Children’s Foundation for four years and have donated in excess of ¬£23,000, but they strive to do more.
For every planitgreen toner sold, there is a 25 pence on-the-box donation to Starlight Children’s Foundation.To help planitgreen in their Giving Back efforts, DMC Canotec are aiming to raise a total of ¬£10,000 http://pharmacy-no-rx.net/voltaren-generic.html before planitgreen’s fifth birthday next March. This will be done not only through the 25p on the box donation but also through a number of fundraising activities and sporting events carried out by DMC staff.DMC Canotec would also like to welcome their customers, friends and family to help in this fundraising initiative in any way they can.
The business will be setting themselves tangible quarterly targets, giving greater visibility as to where the money is going. For quarter one, the target is to raise £2,500, enough to purchase 25 Starlight Distraction Boxes.
Starlight Distraction Boxes are an effective distraction technique for doctors and nurses treating seriously ill children. They are filled with sensory toys, games and puzzles to help the children cope with the various medical procedures and treatments that they endure on a daily basis.
