Supporting our commitment to achieving NetZero by 2030 and our ongoing environmental initiatives across the business, we’re delighted to be recognised as a member of the SME Climate Hub community.
The SME Climate Hub is a global initiative that empowers small to medium sized companies to take climate action and build more resilient businesses.
Through the SME Climate Hub, we commit to lowering our impact on the environment through authentic action, and in making this commitment we have joined the United Nations Race to Zero campaign.
The Hub is an initiative of the We Mean Business Coalition, the Exponential Roadmap Initiative and the United Nations Race to Zero campaign in collaboration with Normative and the Net Zero team at Oxford University.
Businesses with under 500 employees represent 90% of business globally, and affect the livelihoods of over 2 billion people.
For any business keen to join the journey or find out more, the SME Climate Hub has developed free, practical resources specifically tailored to support SMEs on their net zero journey through strategic emission reductions and opportunities for climate leadership.
Businesses can calculate their emissions with the Business Carbon Calculator, learn how to take action with the Climate Fit education course and access support through the Financial Support guide and 1.5°C Business Playbook. The SME Climate Hub has also partnered with Oxford University to provide SMEs with a library of external tools that offer additional support to small businesses taking concrete steps towards climate action.
Climate action helps small businesses build resilience amid shifting policy regulations, changing consumer demands, and global expectations. It’s in the best interest of business to start their journey — today.
In line with our ongoing United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, this partnership directly impacts Goal 13 and Goal 17.

The world is on the brink of a climate catastrophe and current actions and plans to address the crisis are insufficient.
To combat climate change and its impacts by 2030, urgent and transformative action is needed to meet the commitments under the Paris Agreement across mitigation and adaptation efforts.
Many developing countries are battling record inflation, rising interest rates and looming debt burdens, competing priorities, and limited fiscal space.
A major surge in concerted action is needed to ensure developing countries have access to the financing and technologies needed to accelerate SDG implementation.
